May Belle Merritt transitioned to glory on March 8, 2015. She leaves her sons, Thomas R. James and Ronnie Merritt, grandchildren, Titus Merritt, Shawanna, Eureka and Jazmen James, great grand, Dorsette James Jr, Sisters, Mattie Bell Sims, Lucille Clayton, Mae Thelma Fisher, Brothers Franklin D. Prince Sr and Willie James Prince and a host of other relatives. Viewing will be Wednesday March 18, 2015 from 4 - 5PM at the mortuary and a graveside service will be held at Edgewood Cemetery on March 19, 2015 at 12:00 noon.
