Mrs. Glenda Hickson Jenifer was born on July 5, 1952 in Augusta, Georgia to Mr. Rudell Hickson, Jr. and Mary Hickson. She later moved to Jacksonville, Florida where she attended Matthew W. Gilbert High School graduating with the class of 1970. Glenda met and married Mr. George Prince Jenifer on November 27, 1970 and from this union two daughters were born.

Glenda departed this life on Tuesday, November 3, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudell and Mary Hickson; brother, Willie Hickson; sisters, Carolyn Martin, Emma Hickson, and Teresa Hickson.

Glenda leaves to cherish loving memories, a husband, George Jenifer; two daughters, GeQuanda Yadira Jenifer Murray (Carlton), and Genola Lavetta Jenifer (Daddy T); five grandchildren, Alex Morman, Jr., Levion Blount, Qiana Morman, Nolan Jenifer, Xzavier Jenifer; sister, Marilyn Hickson Johnson (Woodrow); a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Glenda Jean Jenifer will be held 11:00 am SATURDAYat the Unity Missionary Baptist Church 281 E. 44th St. The visitation will be 5 - 7PM , Friday, at the mortuary.
