LaShun Cudellas James affectionately called “Shun” was born on June 30, 1969 in Jacksonville, Florida to Artis H. James and Annie Mae James. Shun her education in the local schools of Duval County.

Shun departed this life on Saturday, April 30, 2016. She was preceded in death by her mother, Annie Mae James-Kirkland; brother, Artis James; sister, Nettie James-Dixon; nephew, Derrick James.

Shun leaves to cherish her loving memories five children, Jeremy James, Jemaine James, Janet James, Jonathan James, and Jenae James; nine grandchildren; a loving father, Artis H. James; brothers, Andrew Kirkland and Charles Smith; a host of nieces; nephews; uncle, Willie Youngblood; aunt, Catherine Graves; a loving and devoted friend, Willie Daniels; and many cousins and sorrowing friends.
