Tomonia “Michelle” Turner was born on October 29, 1979 in Jacksonville, Florida to her loving parents, Willie and Louise Turner. She attended the public schools of Duval County. Michelle was baptized as a young child at Northside Church of Christ. She was a homemaker, loving and devoted mother to five beautiful children, Tyler, Torin, Cyrus, Tonio, and Ataijah.

Michelle departed this life on Tuesday, January 10, 2017. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Margaret Rapley; maternal grandfather, Henry Whitfield; aunt, Betty “Jo” Whitmore; uncles, Johnny Turner “Honey Pete” and Moses “Motoe” Turner.

Michelle leaves cherished memories and a legacy with her children, Tyler, Torin, Cyrus, Tonio, and Ataijah; loving parents, Willie and Louise Turner; maternal grandmother, Sylvania Whitfield; sisters, Yolanda McGriff (Bruce) and Cynthia Avery; fiancé, Antonio Mitchell; fiancé children, Tonesha Mitchell and Caleb McSwain; aunts, Alfreda Whitfield, Dorothy Whitfield, Alice Whitfield, Theresa Hunter (Ed), Viola Grable (uncle Sonny), and Emma Clarke (Andrew); uncles, Quinton “Bernard” Whitfield (Sharon), Kaydell Whitfield, John Whitfield (Josephine), and Theodis Preston (Ish); nieces, Tiara Sellers, Latrice Avery, and Carlotta Avery; nephew, Byron Ford; close friends, Velencia Roberts, Nikel Kirkland, Michelle Cooper, Cindy Jones, Cora “Nichele” Brown, and Stephanie Hordge; a host of other relatives, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
