Obituary for MICHAEL RONALD BELL

Michael Ronald Bell also known as "Mike" was born on January 28, 1950 to the parents of Eunice and Carlena Bell. He was raised and educated in Duval County.  He graduated from Matthew W. Gilbert, Class of 1968 where he played basketball and won class superlatives such as "Most Friendly." Because of his dress style and basketball skills he was called "Kaky Daddy."

Michael attended Edward Waters College after graduating from high school and later served in the United States Army as a Medic. Michael moved to Boston, Massachusetts, in 1983; while in Boston he worked with his brother David Bell as the co-owner of "On the Hour Courier".

Mike was taught at an early age about Christ, under the ministry of Bishop Richard Givens. In his young adult life, he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior under the ministry of Evangelist Leroy Givens. Just before passing, Mike rededicated his life to Christ.

Michael leaves to honor his memory: parents, Eunice and Carlena Bell; sister, Lorraine (Lorenzo) Williams; brothers, Larry Bell, Daniel (Sharon) Bell, David (Solange) Bell of Boston, Massachusetts, and Darrell (Beverly) Bell; a devoted friend, Arga Faye Hurley; aunt and uncle, Evangelist Leroy and Lois Givens; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
