Obituary for ADAM JAMES FLUKER

Rev. Adam James Fluker was born on November 18, 1934 to Grant Fluker and Josephine Fluker in Dothan, Alabama. He was baptized at a young age and attended Stanton High School.

Rev. Fluker joined the United States Army and served his country for many years, after retiring from the military Rev. Fluker worked for the United States Postal Service for 10 years. He was an Ordained Minister and he presided over First Baptist Church of Armstrong, Florida for many years. He also attended The New Mt. Zion.

Rev. Fluker departed this life on Tuesday, February 7, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grant Fluker and Josephine Fluker; brother, McArthur Fluker.

Rev. Fluker leaves to cherish memories: Ms. Ella Mae Louden; children, Rose Fluker, Phyllis Willis, Adam Fluker, William Fluker Sidney, Adam Fitzgerald Fluker, Angela Anita Fluker, Linda Louise Fluker, Torrance Fluker; sister, Gloria Williams; brothers, Willie J. Fluker (Clara) and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lewis Fluker; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for ADAM JAMES FLUKER will be held 11:00 AM, SATURDAY, at the Samuel C. Rogers, Jr. Memorial Chapel, 4315 North Main St. The visitation will be held 5 - 7:00 PM, Friday at the mortuary. Interment in Jacksonville National Cemetery.
