Rosa Mae McLeod was born on October 26, 1934 to Thomas and Marian Felix in Jacksonville, Florida. She confessed Christ at an early age and was a member of Abyssinia Baptist Church. Rosa attended the local public schools of Duval County. Rosa met and married Melvin McLeod, Jr. and to this union three sons and four daughters were born.

Rosa departed this life on Thursday, February 9, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Marian Felix; son, Reginald Dixon; daughter, Tonya S. McLeod; sisters, Helen Felix, Elizabeth Denson, and Janette Williams; brother, Morris Felix, Sr.

Rosa leaves to cherish loving memories: children, Gloria Johnson (Hezron), Marlow V. McLeod, Salena Bartley, Robert A. McLeod, and Angela Kearse; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a special friend, Curtis Lang; many other relatives, and friends including Campus Towers residents.

The funeral service for ROSA MAE MCLEOD will be held 11:00 am SATURDAY at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main St. The visitation will be 5 - 7:00 pm, Friday, at the mortuary.
