Obituary for DALLAS GRAHAM HAGANS Sr.

DALLAS GRAHAM  HAGANS Sr.
Dallas Graham Hagans, Sr. was born on June 10, 1954 to Alfoncy and Melveta Hagans in Brewster’s Hospital, Jacksonville, Florida. He had the honor of serving in the United States Marine Corps. Dallas returned to Jacksonville where he lived for the remainder of his life. He matriculated in the Duval County Public School System and last attended Florida State College at Jacksonville, pursuing the Auto Body Repair Curriculum.

Dallas passed away peacefully from this life the afternoon of February 26, 2017, after a gradual decline in health. He was surrounded and supported by his loving family and caregivers during the last months of his life. Dallas was preceded in death by his father, Alfoncy Hagans; devoted stepfather, Judson B. Kinder; and a younger brother, Gregory L. Kinder.

Dallas is survived by his son, Dallas Graham Hagans, Jr.; daughter, Valencia Gantt Banks (Johnny); three grandchildren, NyKeia Hagans, Jalain McBride, and Danielle Hagans; mother, Melveta L. Kinder; siblings, Alphonso Hagans, Jr. (Mildred), Daniel Hagans (Dora), Cheryl Hagans, Vernon Hagans (Rowena), Venetia Rainey (William); a special devoted cousin and caretaker, Marvetta Hightower (Ron); aunt, Ophelia Wright; uncle and close friend, Robert Flowers; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, coworkers, (too many to name individually) who mourn his loss.

The funeral service for DALLAS GRAHAM HAGANS, Sr. will be held 11AM, Friday, March 3rd, 2017 at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main Street.
