DOLLIE MAE  GORDON
Dollie Mae Gordon was born in Jacksonville, Florida on February 28, 1953, to her parents, Ulysses Mann & Beatrice Cobb Butler who both proceeded her in death. Also, proceeding in death are three sisters, Gloria Jean Paige, Carolyn Butler, Rose Butler and brother, Charles Mann.

Dollie confessed Christ on March 16, 1986 becoming a dedicated member of the Northside Church of Christ of Jacksonville, Florida.

Dollie lived here in Jacksonville all of her life and worked as a Food Service employer for the Duval County Public School system. At the time of her retirement, after 36 years, she was assigned to the Douglas Anderson School of Arts.

On Saturday, March 25, 2017, a rich and rewarding life ended its earthly existence when God Almighty summoned His child, Dollie Mae Gordon, to receive her Heavenly reward. She leaves to forever treasure her love and her memories, her daughter Ramona “Renee” Mincey, two grand daughters, Jahida Green and Tacuria Mincey, seven brothers, Cecil Cobb and Felton Mann of Greenville, FL, Ulysses Mann, Jr. of Snellville, GA, Michael Mann, Kenneth Mann, Herman Mann (Lena), Ulysses Mann (Dominique) all of Jacksonville, FL, her seven sisters, Beatrice Brown, Janice Simpson (Michael), Angie Dancy (Eric), Karen Mann, Stephanie Mann and Lisa Jordan all of Jacksonville, FL, Tracey Taylor (Cedric) of Macon, GA, Elizabeth (Karim) Woods of Loganville, GA and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for DOLLIE MAE GORDON will be held 11:00 am Saturday, March 25th, 2017 at the Northside Church of Christ 4736 Avenue B. JACKSONVILLE, FL 32209. The visitation will be 5:00 pm 7:00 pm , Friday, March 24th, 2017 at the Funerals by T S Warden. Interment in Restlawn Cemeteries.
