MAGGIE ANN  CAPERS (Harrington)
Maggie Ann Harrington Capers was born June 3, 1944 in Cheraw, South Carolina to the late Howard and Lucille Harrington. Maggie was the baby girl of the seven children born to this union. She was educated in the public school system in Cheraw, South Carolina where she graduated from Long High School. Later in life Maggie moved to Jacksonville and married the late Ollie L Capers. She resided in Magnolia Gardens where she made a major impact in the lives of the younger and older generation. Maggie was known in the Garden as “The Honey-Dripper Lady”

Maggie was a member of Faust Temple Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of Pastor Clarence Jones Sr. Maggie served actively on District Board #1 under the leadership of Missionary Joan C Barney.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Ollie L Capers; sister, Earline Dove; and brother, Howard Harrington Jr.; two sister-n-laws, Arie Norton and Doris Harrington; three brother-n-laws, Buster Dove, Clifford Norton Sr. and John Dove.

Leaving to cherish her memories her six children: Barbara (Antonio) Arnold of Atlanta, GA, Robert (Crystal) Lawhorn Sr., Richard (Rhona) Capers Sr. of Augusta, GA, Paul Capers Sr., Paula (Tommie) Dingle Sr., Juliette Kimbrough and Micheal December; twelve grandchildren, Richard (Giuli) Capers Jr., Latasha Capers, Latrelle’ Capers, Brandon Turner, Andre Kimbrough Jr., Renae Capers, Paul Capers Jr., Tommie Dingle Jr., Travell Dingle, Victoria Lawhorn, Robert Lawhorn Jr., Camila Arnold; five great-grandchildren, Fred, Christopher, David, Davion, and Charlotte; four siblings, a sister, Ella Mae Dove; three brothers, Robert Harrington Sr., Jesse Harrington and Charles Harrington; goddaughters, Carlette Thomas and Marsha (Nikki) Jennings; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and best friend/caregiver, Cecelia Ryals.

Family and friends describes Maggie as sweet, outspoken with a loving Christian spirit. On April 12, 2017 after fulfilling her purpose on Earth, God called Maggie to eternal rest. To those of us who remain, her legacy is one of love and compassion with kindness to all. To God Be The Glory!!!

The funeral service for MAGGIE ANN CAPERS will be held 11 AM SATURDAY, April 22nd, 2017 at the Faust Temple Church Of God In Christ 3328 Moncrief Road. The visitation will be 5 - 7 PM , Friday, April 21st, at the mortuary. Interment in Restlawn Cemeteries. Please sign the family guest book and view the video tribute @ www.tswarden.com.
