Obituary for Andy Lalanne "One Two" Hicks
Andy Lalain Hicks was born on January 27, 1963, in Gainesville, Florida to J.L Dunmore and Martha Ruth Hicks. He received his formal education through the Duval County Public School System. He was an awesome athlete and excelled in sports at Paxon High School.
Andy obeyed the gospel of Christ at Northside Church of Christ as a young child and was one of the original Almeda boys.
On Thursday, April 20, 2017, Andy departed this life. He was preceded in death by one, son Bradley Jackson; brother, Joseph Hicks; and a nephew, Joseph Hicks II.
Andy leaves to cherish his legacy wife, Tonia Hicks; six sons, Adonis Hicks, Randolph Phillips, Kwinsha’ Jones, Girardeau Wilson, Ta’Quan Hicks, and Breone Nero; six daughters, Tamika (James) Frasier, Girhonda Gardener, Anisha Hicks, Tenika, India, and Breona Nero; father, J.L. Dunmore; mother, Martha Ruth Hicks; brothers, DeWayne Hicks (Eugenia) and Marcus Israel (April); sisters, Edna Thomas and Sylvia West; 23 grandchildren; mother-in-law; and a host of loving family members and friends.
The funeral service for Andy Lalain Hicks "One Two" will be held 10AM, Saturday, April 29th, 2017 at the Northside Church of Christ 4736 Avenue B. The visitation will be 5 - 7:00 pm , Friday, at the mortuary. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Please sign the family guest book and view the video tribute @ www.tswarden.com.
