Larry James Jackson was born on March 14, 1951 to Pascus and Jessie Mae Jackson in Jacksonville, Florida, where he attended Andrew Jackson High School.

Larry departed this life on Wednesday, September 27, 2017. He was preceded in death by his father, Pascus Jackson; sister, Annette Jackson and brother, Jerome Jackson.

Larry leaves memories to be cherished by his children, Larry Jackson (Tory), Germaine Jackson (Jackie), Lydell Jackson (Erica) and Shynees Jackson; his mother, Jessie Mae Jackson; brothers, Marvin Jackson (Mabel), Donnie Jackson (Kathy); sisters, Irene Coleman (Julius), Theresa Morgan (Major) and Barbara Hunter (Ed); he also leaves a legacy of 23 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; a host nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Larry James Jackson will be held 1:00 pm Monday, October 2nd, 2017 at the Evergreen Cemetery 4535 Main Street JACKSONVILLE, FL 32208. The visitation will be 12:00 pm 1:00 pm , Monday, October 2nd, 2017 at the Funerals By T. S. Warden 4315 North Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
