Mr. Willie Jones, Jr. affectionately known as “Bubba” was born on December 27, 1954 to Mr. Willie and Mrs. Bernice Jones in Jacksonville, Florida. As a child, Willie attended Mt. Canaan Church with his family. He attended Northwestern High School, he received his GED and furthered his education by attending Culinary School. Willie served his country in the United States Marine Corp. he received an Honorable Discharge after serving five years.

Willie departed this life on Saturday, September 30, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernice Martin Jones and Willie Jones.

Willie leaves to cherish his memories: his children, Willie Jones III (Frances), Tamika Benson, Damian Dukes and Adrian Doss; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Belinda Williams, Nevonya Jones, devoted sister, Chemise Goggins (Curtis), Thesis Jones (Vinnie), Andrew Montana and Latonya Haines (Leonard); aunts, uncles, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends; special friends, Brenda Maddrick and Fonda Brown.

The funeral service for Willie Jones Jr. will be held 1:30 pm SATURDAY, October 7th, 2017 at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel, 4315 N. Main St. The visitation will be held 5 - 7:00 pm, Friday, at the mortuary. Interment in Jacksonville National Cemetery.
