Gloria Ann Artis was born on August 19, 1954 to the late Mollie Ann Hall and Frank Hall in Alma, Georgia. Gloria attended Nathan B. Forrest High School. She met Johnny Bee Artis in 1983 and they were married on February 19, 2002 in Jacksonville, Florida. Gloria was baptized and a member of One Accord Ministries.

Gloria departed this life on Sunday, October 22, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mollie Hall and Frank Hall.

Gloria leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted husband, Johnny Bee Artis; daughter, Brenda L. Nelson; grandchildren, Roger Allen, Jr. and Brittany Mone’t Morrison; sisters, Martha Hall and Virginia Hall; brothers, William Hall and James Hall, Sr.; goddaughter, Patricia Amos; nieces, Sharonda Boney, Shantavia Hall and Ramonica Funchess; nephews, Radarious Glover, Ramon Funchess, Jr., David Hallback, Jr. and James Hall, Jr.; brother-in-laws, Kenny Ward and James Walker; sister-in-law, Carmen Harris; stepchildren, Annette Edwards, Barbara Leary, Roslyn Rountree, Waltina Edwards, Anthony General and Carla Smith; best friends, Martha Stevens and Vanessa Hall; other relatives and friends.
