Obituary for Carol Arleatha Robinson
Carol Arleatha McBride-Robinson was born on October 15, 1953 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late David McBride and Annie Mae Green. She graduated from New Stanton High School, Class of 1971. Carol and Everett met on the bus going to work in 1972, they were united in holy matrimony on January 5, 1974. To this union they were blessed with a son on September 23, 1975.
Carol began her career at Jax Navy Credit Union at Cecil Field NAS in 1972. She left the credit union and was employed by National Linen on Park Street. She left National Linen for a position at the City of Jacksonville. Carol was added to the body of Christ, Northside Church of Christ on February 11, 1976. She retired from the City of Jacksonville as a Clerical Support Aide III on June 1, 1999 after 22 ½ years of service. She loved to have coffee on the back porch looking out at the neighborhood pond. She also loved entertaining family, working in the yard, and going on vacation. Carol departed this life on October 23, 2017.
Carol leaves to cherish her memories a caring and devoted husband, Everett Robinson III; son, Everett Robinson IV (Lakeshia); grandchildren, Kayla Robinson, Mia Robinson and Asia Robinson; uncle, William Green; aunts, Dollie Tucker and Lee Anna Spears, nieces; Velecia Bellamy, Tonya McBride and Albertina Bradfield; cousins, Helen Walker, Patricia Tillman, Hollie Bass, Leroy Bass, Julia Mae Richardson, Harold Andrews (Marvette), Eloise Brown, Janice Hayes (Leon), Pearl Richardson, Kim Booker (Darryl), Perca Guion, Frances Brown, Reginald Green, Sheryl Stanley (Tyrone), Darlene Green, Carl Green (Pauline), Joyce Daffin and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Carol Arleatha Robinson will be held 1:00 pm FRIDAY, November 3rd, 2017 at the Northside Church of Christ, 4736 Avenue B. The visitation will be held 5 - 7:00 pm, Thursday(TODAY) at the church. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Please sign the family guest book and view the video tribute @ www.tswarden.com.
