Obituary for PATRICIA ANN EDWARDS
Patricia Ann Edwards was born on July 19, 1958 in Jacksonville, Florida to Robert Lee Jernigan and Willie Bell Elexander. She confessed Christ at the age of 15 years old, uniting with Samuel Baptist Church where she was baptized by Pastor Raven Gaston. Patricia received her education at Englewood High School in Jacksonville, Florida. She met Bobby Edwards in 1991 in Jacksonville, Florida and they were later married in 1998.
Patricia departed this life on Tuesday, October 31, 2017. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Jernigan, Sr.; brother, Robert Jernigan, Jr.
Patricia leaves behind to cherish her memories a loving daughter, Lakashia Jernigan of Jacksonville, Florida; mother, Willie Bell Elexander; sisters, Elizabeth Glover, Fredricka Wheeler and Vivian Edwards; brother, Nathaniel Jernigan; nieces, Adrian Champion, Sabrina Thompson, Tashia Davis, Shawanda Mills, Nikeya Berry, Lapanza Atkins, Latisha Carter and Shameka Williams; nephews, Frank Wheeler, Robert Jernigan, Thomas Stevens, Brad Wheeler and Damian Stevens; sister-in-law, Lapanza Houston and a host of other great nieces and great nephews.
