Willie James Williams was born on April 1, 1949 in Jacksonville, Florida to his parents Willie Lee and Maude Willie Lee Williams. He later met and married Patricia Williams in Jacksonville, Florida. Willie had a love for music, one of his favorite artist was James Brown.

Willie departed this life on Monday, November 6, 2017. He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Lee Williams; mother, Maude Williams and son, Willie James Williams, Jr.

Willie leaves to mourn his passing, a loving wife, Patricia Williams; 7 children: sons, Albert, Michael; daughters, April, Lousie, Patrice, Katrina and Samatha; a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sister, Joan W. Demery; brothers, Milton Williams, Lamar Williams and Ronnie Henderson; other relatives and friends.
