Ms. Betty Lee Parker was born on April 21, 1935 to Jesse and Bertha Mae Sapp and Mary Freeman in Jacksonville, Florida. She later met and married Norman L. Parker in Jacksonville, Florida.
Betty departed this life on Wednesday, February 7, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Parker; parents, Jesse and Bertha Mae Sapp and Mary Freeman; son, Jesse Lucky Sapp; granddaughter, Andriana Richards; sisters, Rutha Mae Lipford, Lesle Freeman, Carrie Bell Guy; brother Phillip Freeman.
Betty is survived by her children, Alberta Cullins, Angela Mobley, Sandra Mobley and Roosevelt Mobley, Jr. (Starlette); sisters, Doris Coleman, Evelyn Sapp Bennett (Dwight), Carolyn Rollins (Calvin); brothers, Rufus Freeman, Jr. and Louis Sapp; grandchildren, Calandra, LyKesha, James, Shatoya, DeAngelo, Jeston, Preston, Rashaan, Malik and English; a host of nieces, nephews, dear friends and her loving and caring nursing assistant, Marilyn.
