Obituary for Isaac Lewis Jr.
Bro. Isaac Lewis, Jr. was born on July 5, 1953 in Miami, Florida. Bro. Lewis relocated to Jacksonville, Florida at an early age. He attended the local schools, graduating from William M. Raines Senior High School. Bro. Lewis united with West Jacksonville Church of God in Christ, where he served briefly on the Usher Board before his illness prevented him from serving.
Bro. Lewis coached football and softball. He refereed plenty of games. Bro. Lewis was employed with the following companies during his journey of life: Bulk Mail Center, Washington Inventory Services (WIS), Walmart, SOS Academy until his health started to fail. He later was joined in Holy Matrimony to Ms. Robbin Davis.
On Wednesday morning, February 7, 2018 the Lord dispatched an angel to bring Bro. Lewis home. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bro. Lewis leaves to cherish memories, a loving wife, Robbin Davis Lewis; three children, Sierra, Brandon and Corey Davis; six grandchildren, Destinee, Jordan, EnDya, Brandon Jr., Br’ianna and Nevaeh; brother, Ronald Campbell; brother-in-laws, Dale Davis and Edward Davis; godmother, Mrs. Lois Prater; goddaughters, Neicey Calhoun and Justis Davis; a dear friend, Ms. Angela Hawkins.
