Obituary for John Anderson

John Anderson
John Anderson, Jr. also affectionately known as (JuneBug) was born December 7, 1939 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late John and Inez Anderson. He was the second child born of four children.

John accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and was baptized into the Body of Christ. He fellowshipped at the Northbound Church of Christ, under the leadership of Elisha Taylor, Jr. until his health begin to fail him.

John's favorite pass time was catching the city bus to the beach or to the movies in Regency Square. He also enjoyed spending time at the Mary Singleton facility for senior citizens. He will truly be missed for the smile and handshake that he offered to everyone.

John departed this life Saturday, February 10, 2018. He was preceded in death by his two younger siblings, Susie Smith and Charlie Anderson.

John leaves to cherish his memory: his devoted and dedicated to the end sister, Vernell Johnson (Gus); 3 nephews, Rubin Williams, Ollie Smith II (Brenda) and Kevin Anderson (Angle); 5 nieces, Kay Cardona (Victor), Kimberly Johnston, Crystal Curry (Andre), Salena Williams (Kenny) and Nicole McMillian; 11 grandnephews; 16 grandnieces; 15 great-grandnephews; 6 great-grand nieces; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
