Barbara Elaine Grubbs was born on April 13, 1963 to Mozella and Arthur Grubbs in Morristown, New Jersey. She confessed Christ and attended New Hope Pentecostal Church. Barbara attended Orange Park High School.

Barbara leaves to mourn her passing: two daughters, Rebecca Grubbs and Victoria Broadwater; three sons, David Broadwater, Lumare Grubbs (Dominique) and Matthew Broadwater; grandchildren, John Marshall, Janisha Marshall, Jasmine Sermons, Malachi Grubbs, Anna Grubbs, Gyneral Cole, Asia Cole, Alonna Cole, Micah Broadwater and Alexis Broadwater; sisters, Diane Johnson and Alicia Grubbs and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and numerous friends.
