Obituary for Adaijah Dashawn Showers
Adaijah DaShawn Showers peacefully departed this life the morning of May 4, 2020 to answered God’s call and entered sweet rest with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Adaijah was born September 8, 1997 in Jacksonville, Florida and was preceded in death by her father, the Late Andre Keith Showers; her maternal grandparents, the Late Phillip and Melvina Newton; and her paternal grandparents, the Late Harriett Johnson and Jack Showers, Sr.
Adaijah attended (PSA) Pediatric Services of America, Fletcher’s Tender Care and graduated from Mount Herman Exceptional School May 6, 2016. She loved to be pampered from her head to her toes. She loved getting hair washed and her feet done, dressing up and smelling good with sweet fragrances. She loved her rides to the beach, spending time by the water, being around family, friends and loved for you to sing and talk to her.
Adaijah leaves to cherish her memory her loving mother, Sherri M. Newton; three sisters, Octavia M. Newton, Crystal and Danielle Showers; a nephew, Anton D. Short, Jr.; two nieces, A’Miyah D. Short and Crystina Miller; aunts and uncles, Dennis (Jannie) Newton, Mella Christian, Kenneth Newton, and Phyllis (Johnny) Hardwick; a host of family and friends; and a special recognition to Mr. Stacy B. White, Tekkriel, Jaquavian, and Jayla Spencer; and a special acknowledgement and thanks to Carmen Nunez.
The funeral service for Adaijah Dashawn Showers will be held at 12:30 PM Saturday, May 16th, 2020 at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. The visitation will be 4:00 - 7:00 pm, Friday, May 15th, 2020 at the Funerals by T.S. Warden 4315 North Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. Private Interment.
