Obituary for Alfred Horace Richo

Alfred H. Richo, the fifth of seven children born to the late Elliot and Maybell Richo was born on
August 16, 1944 in Fernandina Beach, Fl. Alfred graduated in 1962 from Peck High School where he was
active in Football. After graduation Alfred worked several jobs prior to moving to Newark, Nj where he
worked and retired from General Motors. It was also in New Jersey where he met the love of his life
which he later married the late Annette (Ziegler) Richo.
Alfred had a great passion for the Lord and showed his devotion in his daily walk. A devoted member of
Welcome Baptist Church he was on several auxiliaries and served tirelessly as a Deacon. Devoted to his
walk he did not hesitate to share his testimony, pray, and usher souls unto the Lord.
Alfred was also committed to his family. He did not hesitate to travel the highways to spend Holidays
with his love ones or to be by the side of anyone in need. Alfred was and is love. He was such a
charismatic being who touched the lives of every person he encountered. Alfred spent his retired years
delivering sunshine and smiles with every flower he delivered for Rupp’s Flowers.
To know Alfred is to know love, to experience his friendship is to experience something unforgettable.
