Algie Bernard Jackson passed away on February 25, 2014. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida and was the son of Mrs. Annie Mosely, Ms. Altamese Jackson and Mr. Algie Palmer. He attended Matthew W. Gilbert High School and later went on to pursue his career as a Merchant Seaman. He was a devoted member of his church, Abundant Life in Christ where he served as Deacon. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ralph Cooper, Esq. He leaves to cherish his memories, 2 sons, Timothy Bernard Jackson (Laurenia) and Alexius Rashaun Jackson (Angel) ; brothers, Tariq Barclay, Richard Mosley, Kenneth Palmer (Darlene), and Lenthue Palmer; sisters, Annie Evans, Deborah Norman (Ervin) Brenda Goodman, Paulette Hernandez, Felicia Palmer; 5 grandchildren, devoted companion, Lynette Harley, a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral service for Algie Bernard Jackson will be held 11AM, Saturday at the First Baptist of Oakland 1025 Jessie Street. The visitation will be 5 - 7PM, Friday at the mortuary.
