Mr. Alonzo Hampton was born in Tupelo, Mississippi on February 28, 1953 to his parents, Andrew and Vinnie Mae Hampton. He accepted Christ and was baptized in Jamaica, New York. He completed his education in the schools of Tupelo, Mississippi.
Mr. Hampton was married to Marilyn Morrison and from that union of marriage were born two children: Alonzo Hampton II, Ericia Hampton, and step-son, De'Shone Thomas.
Mr. Hampton later was married to Patricia Lilly and from that union of marriage was born a son, Tevin Hampton.
Mr. Hampton and Sharon Davis had a daughter together, Stephanie Davis.
Mr. Hampton worked for over thirty years in Management for the Hotel Hospitality in New York.
Mr. Hampton departed this life on Monday, April 25, 2022 and was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Vinnie Mae Hampton; daughter, Stephanie Davis; and son, Tevin Hampton. Mr. Hampton leaves to celebrate his life daughter, Ericia Hampton; sons, Alonzo Hampton, II and De'Shone Thomas; and his grandchildren. He also leaves to celebrate his life a host of family and friends.
