Alonzo Derrick Turner, affectionately called “Boo Boo”, was born September 28, 1977 in Jacksonville, Florida to Joseph and Normadine Turner. He was educated in the local schools of Duval County.

Alonzo gained his wings on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Advent Health, Orlando Florida. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sim and Odessa Mae Williams.

Alonzo was well known for his entrepreneurship in car detailing and food. He was the owner of T&T Detailing and Big Baby’s Bar-B-Q.

Alonzo leaves to cherish his memories: daughters, Kierra, Brandy, Destiny, and Alonna; devoted parents, Joseph and Normadine Turner; nephew/son, Darian Turner; grandchildren, Devin, Lamari, Kobe, and Sincere; brother, Joseph Turner, Jr.; sisters, Melissa Gross (John), Diathra Turner, Vivian Williams and Tiffany Turner; aunt, Roberta Williams; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends; childhood best friend, David Robinson; devoted caregiver, Gwendolyn Johnson; and devoted ex-wife, Alishia Moore.

The funeral service for Alonzo Derrick Turner "Boo Boo" will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday, November 21st, 2020 at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. The visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 pm, Friday, November 20th, 2020 at the Funerals by T.S. Warden 4315 North Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. Interment in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.
