Obituary for Alvin Lamar Taft

Alvin Lamar Taft was born on March 4, 1956 in Jacksonville, Florida. Alvin received his early education in the Duval County Public School system. He was employed by the UF Health System in the transportation department as a carrier. Alvin received Jesus Christ as his savior at an early age and joined Emanuel Missionary Baptist Church.

Alvin leaves to cherish his precious memories, Children: Dealonzo and Deangelo; Grandchildren: Dealonzo Alvin, Brianna Skye; Four sisters: Barbara Anne, Deborah (Theodore), Janet (Michael), Brenda (Stevie), One Brother: Donald; Two Aunts: Virginia and Martha; One Uncle: James; Special friends: Donna Goodson, Eddie “LaLa” Monroe and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

God, in His infinite wisdom called Alvin home on May 23, 2018 to his eternal rest, surrounded by his loving family. Alvin was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Taft Beverly and his grandparents, James and Charlie Mae Taft.
