Andrew Lee Morgan was born on May 1, 1930 in Raleigh, North Carolina to Willie Morgan and Flonnie McCoy-Morgan. He later met and married Gloria Morgan in Imperial, California. From this union one daughter, Tracey was born.
Andrew departed this life February 10, 2022. He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Morgan; mother, Flonnie McCoy-McCoy; wife, Gloria Morgan; sister, Willow Mae Hamm; brother, Frederick Morgan; daughters, Tracey Elaine Morgan and Toni Cynthia Monique Morgan; granddaughters, Felecia Williams and Neritia Buckman; grandsons, George Decosta and Javon Powell.
Andrew leaves to mourn his passing: daughters, Kimetha Lea Rheubottom, Sonya Felecia Haynes (James) and Carol Ramona Decosta; son, Darryl Austin Morgan; sisters, Arnel, Pearline and Sarah; brothers, Willie (Liz), Curtis Sr. (Frankie); and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Andrew Lee Morgan will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 25th, 2022 at the Samuel C. Rogers, Jr. Memorial Chapel, 4315 N Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206. The visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 24th, 2022 at the Funerals by T.S. Warden, 4315 North Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206. Interment in Jacksonville National Cemetery.
