Ms. Annie R. Black was born May 13, 1957 in Jacksonville, Florida to Elzie Murphy Jr and Alma Murphy. She graduated from Paxon Senior High school. She was employed with Atlantic Bank and then Wells Fargo where she retired after 31 years of service. Ms. Black was preceded in death by her father, Elizie Murphy Jr and sister, Jessie Ruth Dawson.

Annie leaves to cherish her memories, her loving mother, Alma Murphy; three loving children: Jacqueline N. Black (Joseph), Regina Y. Black, and Robert Harris, III; 6 siblings: Doris J Starks, Karen L. Lee, Dennis L. Murphy (Antionette), Phyllis F. Graham, Roderick M. Murphy (Norma), and DeLacy M. Murphy; 7 grandchildren: Anthony Moore II, Demetrius Powell II, Arielle Moore, Bryaunna Powell, Robert D. Harris, Malachi Harris, and Iyana Lyles; 4 great-grandchildren: Alaiya Moore, Aniya Moore, Demani Powell, and Delani Powell; 1 great-aunt; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, great-nephews, great-nieces, friends, and the staff of Harts Harbor Nursing Home.
