Anthony Henderson, Sr. was born on January 22, 1956 to Virginia Holmes and Raymond Copeland in Jacksonville, Florida. He graduated from Andrew Jackson High School and obtained his certification from Security Guard Association Academy. Anthony gave his life to Jesus Christ at the age of 17.

Anthony passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 22, 2016, at Shands University of Florida (Hospice). He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacquelyn Scott Henderson; and father, Raymond Copeland.

Anthony is survived by his devoted mother, Virginia Holmes; one son, Corey Henderson of Jacksonville, Florida; aunt, Alice Hadley of Thomasville, Georgia; and a host of cousins, and friends.

The funeral service for Anthony Henderson, Sr. will be held 11:00 am SATURDAY, at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel, 4315 N.
