Obituary for Anthony Rashawn Roundtree

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heavens:

A Time to Be Born:
Anthony Rashawn Roundtree, son of Adam Zellers and Lashonda Roundtree, a triplet, was born in Jacksonville, Florida, on Tuesday June 23, 1998.

A Time to Live:
Anthony was educated in the public schools of Duval County. His last job was a Crew Member at Zaxby’s. Anthony loved smiling and making others smile. 

A Time to Serve:
Anthony accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior at an early age and joined Twin Springs Missionary Baptist Church. He was baptized by Pastor Charles G. Skinner.

A Time to Die:
God called his child home to his final resting place on Thursday, July 9, 2020.

A Time to Mourn:
Anthony was preceded in death by his Father, Adam Zellers and cousin, Shontell Samuel. Anthony is survived by and leaves memories forever in the heart of his loving mother, Lashonda Roundtree; his inseparable brothers, Adam and Aushawn Roundtree, Adam Zellers Jr., and Tre’sean Pittman; one sister, Arian Zellers; his devoted and ever loving grandmothers, Faye Johnson (Darren) and Christine Zellers; loving great grandmothers, Freddie Roundtree and Carolyn Banks; grandfather, Wilbur Johnson; loving aunts, Latrice Roundtree, Tameka LeCount (Robert), Ronisha Albertie (Joshua), Trina Life, Crystal McMillion, and Shantiece McCall; special aunt, Terry Melvin; uncle, Edward Roundtree (Louise); cousins, Jaquale Roundtree, Rodklye Gibson, Devante Gibson, Jayce Sulph, Timonn Samuel, Bernard Brown Jr., Jaylah Albertie, Jayde Albertie, Riley Albertie, Rapheal Flucker, Avieal Harris, Edishia Roundtree, Ebony Roundtree, Ta’Kara Mathis, Banolda Life, Kinard Life, Henry Life, Co’Val Mathis, Stantawneya Terry, Stantheresia Terry, and Lakayla Johnson; and a host of other family and sorrowing friends.


The funeral service for Anthony Rashawn Roundtree will be held at 11:00 am Friday, July 17th, 2020 at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. The visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 pm, Thursday, July 16th, 2020 at the Funerals by T.S. Warden 4315 North Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. Interment in Restlawn Cemeteries South.
