Barbara Ann Williams Harris was born on June 29, 1947 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Jim and Mary Williams. She attended Stanton High School and was a devoted member of Union Community A.M.E. Church. She was an avid bowler and loved dancing.
Barbara departed this life on Sunday, January 17, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfonza Harris Sr.; daughter, Pamela LeCount; son, Chester Williams Sr., siblings, Betty Jean Williams, Joyce Ann Williams, Jimmy Lee Williams, MacArthur Williams and Nathaniel Williams.
Barbara leaves to mourn her passing, daughters, Centearia Smith and Christy Lattimore; sons, Alfonza Harris Jr. and Maurice Harris; grandchildren, Darryl Walker (Priscilla), Nathaniel Robinson (Shameaka), Devin Clark, De’Undra Asberry (Keyera), Chester Williams Jr., Chadiah Williams and Carlton Irvine (Kim); sisters, Debra Ann Harrington and Ernestine Williams; her dearest friend and sister-in-law, Bettina Cason; and a host of great-grandchildren; great great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.
