Mr. Benjamin "Benny" Glover was born on November 10, 1934, in Ridgeville, South Carolina to the late Peter and Adeline Glover.  He was reared and educated in the public school system of Dorchester County, S.C. Benny was employed by the ILA Local 1048, where he retired after 20 years of loyal service.

Benny was predeceased by his parents, Peter Glover and Adeline Glover; brothers, Horace Glover, Sinclair Glover, Irving Glover and Julius Glover; sisters, Mary Goodwine and Rosa Cochran. 

Benny leaves to cherish his memory: the twins, Benita Edwards Anthony and Benjamin Edwards, Sr. (Aldrena); 5 grandchildren, Janay Anthony, Keith Anthony II, Benjamin Anthony I (Regan), Benjamin Edwards Jr. and Kameron McDougald; 2 great-grandchildren, Rose Anthony and Benjamin Anthony II; brother, John Glover of Ridgeville, S.C.; sisters, Victoria Haynes of Freeport, NY, and Jeanette Glover of Brooklyn, NY; godchildren, Steven "Stevie" Khon and Vanessa Hayes (Bernard) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
