Obituary for Betty Mary Lee Williams

Betty Mary Lee Williams was born on September 5, 1958, the eleventh child and last daughter to William McKinley and Annie Tena Williams. As a child she was known for having the longest hair most people had ever seen. The problem with her and her long hair was she cried whenever someone would comb it. Betty had a smile and laughter that could draw people to her. She always tried to help people no matter who they were. This is one of the reasons she will truly be missed by all. Betty graduated from Jean Ribault High School, Class of 1976.

Betty departed her earthy life with us on May 7, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William M. Williams, Jr., Milton Williams, Willie James Williams, Harrison Williams, Daniel Williams; and sisters, Catherine Stafford and Mina Jackson.

Betty leaves her two loving sons, Freddrick Williams and Gabriel Williams; grandchildren whom she cherished, Tiana Williams, Sha-dell Williams, Jolissa Williams, Zavier Williams, William Jones, Antonio Hash and Santana Hash; her grandchildren mothers, Jaime Lynah, Hema Sookhoo and Josette Hash; fiancé, Larry Zanders and his mother, Betty Stewart; brothers, David Williams (Janice), Spade Williams (Denise), Larry Williams (Donna), Finnie Williams (Daniele) and Jake Olds (Sonya); sister-in-laws, Virginia Williams and Geraldine Williams; brother-in-law, Larry Stafford; Aunt Betty was so much loved by her numerous nieces and nephews, she had many cousins and she was also a friend to many.

Let us remember Betty for the love she brought in all our lives. Betty Williams you are a child if God. Welcome to your final home. We will love you always!
