Obituary for Beulah Mae Scott
Beulah Mae Scott was born on October 25, 1926 in Meadow, Georgia to the late Willie and Mary Elizabeth Culbreath. She professed in Christ at Spirit of Truth Deliverance Ministry where she was a gracious supporter to the church. Beulah later met and married Henry Scott. From this union one son, James Mazyck, and two daughters, Carolyn Mays and Josephine Clark, were born.
Beulah Mae loved the Lord. She was a very independent person. Beulah retired from the School Board and later became an entrepreneur. She was the owner of Scott’s Grocery and Restaurant, which later became Spirit of Truth Deliverance Ministry. Beulah was also the owner of Israel By Faith House of Worship.
Beulah Mae loved her family. She could perform any task and she instilled that in the family to follow by her example. She always shared an encouraging word and would demonstrate strong support.
Beulah Mae departed this life on Friday, May 3, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry Scott; son, James Mazyck; and daughter, Josephine Clark.
Beulah Mae leaves to cherish her life memories: daughter, Carolyn Mays; grandchildren, Natasha Collins (Larry), Latoia Hampton (Leroy), Stephanie Galloway (Joseph), Rayown Clark (Kellie), Sir James Mazyck, Gloria Wesley, and Sharlen Wesley; great-grandchildren, Larry, Robert, Deneshia, Zacari, Zaevien, La’Majay, Joseph, Jonte’, Jada, Breonna, Dacia, De’ontae; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Beulah Mae Scott will be held 10:00 am Saturday, May 11th, 2019 at the Funerals By T. S. Warden - Samuel C. Rogers, Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N Main St Jacksonville, FL 32206. The visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 pm, Friday, May 10th, 2019 at the Funerals By T. S. Warden 4315 North Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
