Beverlyn was born on October 5, 1963 in Jacksonville, Florida to Bernard and Bama Hales. She attended the local schools in Duval County graduating from Jean Ribault High School, Class of 1982. Beverlyn became a member of the Northside Church of Christ at an early age.

Beverlyn leaves to cherish fond memories with a loving family: daughters, Shenice Toney (Dana) and Breanna Hales; granddaughters, Zeniyah Bryant and Daijah Toney; parents, Bernard and Bama Hales; two sisters, Yvette Dunn (Walter) and Sherekia Hales; brother, Bernard Hales (Tamica); a devoted grandmother, Jerdie Burch; a host of uncles, aunts, other relatives, a good friend, Pearl Haigla-Alexander and friends.

The funeral service for Beverlyn Denise Watson will be held 11:00 am Friday, January 4th, 2019 at the Northside Church of Christ 4736 Avenue B. Jacksonville, Florida 32209. The visitation will be 2 - 7:00 pm, Thursday, January 3rd, 2019 at the Funerals By T. S. Warden 4315 North Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. Interment in Edgewood Cemetery.
