Obituary for Buster Terry Alexander Jr.

Buster Terry Alexander, Jr. was born on October 7, 1946 in Madison, Florida to the late Buster Terry Alexander Sr. and Ruby Alexander. He departed this life on Friday, December 9, 2022 at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida.

Buster, aka “Mr. B”, is a graduate of Matthew Gilbert High School, Class of 1965.  He worked for more than 20 years for Hubbard & Callaway Company as a Construction Foreman until retirement.  Upon retirement, he could be found fishing, singing, dancing, and enjoy his family. Mr. B is loved and will be deeply missed.

Mr. B accepted his call to Christ at a very early age and became a member Greater Saint Matthews Church where he served in the male choir group, A Few Good Men. Mr. B also served as a MW of Wisdom Lodge # 17 for more than 30 years. His dedication to serve will never go unnoticed among us all and it will forever live on.

A legacy of love and memories will be cherished by his wife, Queen Alexander; sons: Troy Alexander, Michael Alexander Sr, Jerome Taylor, and Zaylord Taylor; daughter, Qwendolyn Taylor Lang; 10 grandchildren: Deidra Alexander (Brandon), Qwentilya Lang, Dequila Lang, Zaylord Taylor Jr., Zayandra Taylor, Destiny Taylor, Dynasty Taylor, Divinity Taylor, Troquanna Alexander, Latino Alexander, and Deja Alexander; sisters-in-law: Louise (Fred) Taylor and Eloise Whitty; cousins: Willie Mae Williams, Lillie Mae, Deborah Everett, Earnesteen Ayer’s, Norris Dickson of Madison Florida; and a host of great grandchildren, other relatives, and beloved friends.
