Calvin Hollis was born on December 19, 1942 to the late Ruby Fann Simmons and William Simmons. He attended the local schools in Duval County, graduating from Stanton High School. Calvin was raised up in a loving home and had a love for the Lord Jehovah. He had a love for sports and music. Calvin was a loving father to seven children.


Calvin Hollis departed this life on Friday, March 16, 2018. He was preceded in death by his loving parents; son, Timothy Hollis and granddaughter, Tiphne Hollis.

Grandchildren: Darryl Owens, Miaka Perry, Bryce Perry, Brandon Perry, Frederick Mariner II, Lillian Grace Mariner, Darin Hollis, Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and dear friends.
