Obituary for Carlos Shawndre' Haynes

Carlos Shawndre’ Haynes was born on February 11, 1986 to his loving mother, Lawana Bell Haynes and his father, Robert Earl Gavin. Carlos graduated from Wolfson Senior High School in 2004. He became a Medicaid Provider where he passionately worked with persons with disabilities, mentoring and coaching them through life. Carlos accepted Christ as his savior at a young age. Carlos attended The New St. James Holy Family Church where Apostle Barbara Mims Patterson is The Overseer. He was a member of Titus Spectrum Harvest Dome under the tutelage of the late Apostle R.J. Washington and later became a member of Legacy Ministries Worship Center under the leadership of Abraham Lincoln Washington.

Carlos was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bishop Charles Haynes and Earnestine Coriolan; aunt, Apostle LE'una Shaban; and cousin, Michael (Tori) Christopher.

Carlos was a fountain of knowledge and very wise beyond his years and was always willing to share those gifts with whomever needed it. He was a Pastor at heart, a Historian, a Singer, Comedian, Jaguar fan, Car Enthusiast, and businessman among a plethora of things. Carlos was always giving sound advice per all his areas of expertise because he genuinely wanted to see people win in life! His heart was big, and he gave more than just monetary things; he gave us all knowledge to hold and pass on to others in need with zero expectations from the many people he has blessed in life!

Carlos leaves to cherish his memories his loving mother, Lawana Bell Haynes; brother, Christopher Haynes; niece, Brielle Haynes; cousins, Sterling Shaban and ln'Dia Shaban, as well as, a host of family and friends. We are all better people by listening and learning from the many teachings and golden nuggets Carlos has left behind. He was and still is very loved and will be truly missed.
