Obituary for Charles James Walker

Charles James Walker was born on December 1, 1946 in Jacksonville, FL to James and Beatrice Walker.He received his high school diploma from Stanton Vocational Senior High School, as the valedictorian and class president of 1965. After graduating, with the endorsement of Congressman Charles Bennett, he enlisted into the United States Air Force.

During his tenor he completed two tours in Vietnam, one in Germany, Korea, and Anchorage Alaska. After 13 years of active duty he then completed a six year tour of the Air Force Reserves Unit, located in Hampton Virginia. After residing in Richmond Virginia, for many years he returned home in 2015 to renew his residency within his birth place of Jacksonville Florida.

He leaves to cherish two loving and beautiful daughters Tia and Jessica Walker, Mother Beatrice Walker, Siblings Lelia Bullard (Hayward), Kenneth Walker Sr., James Walker Jr. (Ellen), and Melissa Duncan (Norman). Aunt Janie Mae Jenkins, devoted friend Louise Chappell, and loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
