Obituary for Cheryl Mylinda Parker

Ms. Cheryl Mylinda Parker was born on September 22, 1960 in Buffalo, New York to Jimmy Turpin and Jessie Mae Miles. She moved to Jacksonville, Florida at an early age and attended the Public Schools of Duval County.

Cheryl was employed at Arlington Childcare as a Dietician. She was a volunteer at Justina Road Elementary School, and a Teacher at The Sanctuary @ Mt. Calvary Summer Camp. A very pleasant person with a lovely smile.

Cheryl departed this life on Thursday, November 5, 2015, and is now enjoying a long awaited rest in her new home not made by man’s hand, but eternal in the hands of her heavenly father. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jessie Mae Miles; and sister, Theresa Ann Everett.

Cheryl leaves to cherish her loving memories her father, Jimmy Turpin; a loving daughter, Felisha Davis (Mateen); sons, Isiah Parker, and Derrick Parker; granddaughter, Aziyah Davis; grandsons, Albert Fahnbulleh, III, Amari Fahnbulleh, and Derrion Parker; sister, Brenda Filmore; brothers, Ricky Parker (Gina), and Antonio Schofield (Judy); special friends, Robert Stevens, and Cynthia Whigham; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
