Christopher Lex Winns was born on January 11, 1954 in Arlington, GA to Georgia Milliner Winns and Willie D. Winns. He departed this life on Thursday, September 15, 2022, and was preceded in death by Georgia Milliner Winns (Mother) and Willie D. (Tap) Winns (Father), LFD of Winns Funeral Home in Arlington, GA.

Christopher confessed to Christ at an early age uniting with Mt. Ararat Baptist Church where he was baptized by Pastor, Dallas Graham.

He attended schools in Duval County and received his education at Mary McLeod Bethune Elementary, Susie E. Tolbert Elementary, Wesconnett Elementary, James Weldon Johnson, Jr. High School and William M. Raines High School.

During his life, Christopher was employed at Goodwill in Lawton, OK, Sunshine Metal Products Company, Inc. in Arlington, GA, and Universal Blancher, Inc. in Blakely, GA.
