Obituary for Clifton Maurice Brown

Clifton Maurice Brown, better known to Friends and Love ones as Clifford, was born on November 26, 1952 in Port St. Joe, Florida to the late Calvin Brown Jr. and Cora L Johnson Brown. He was the second born child in the family of five children.

Clifton, attended local Duval County Schools. During his high school years, he was an outstanding all star basketball player at New Stanton High School. He was affectionally called "Pembroke" after the famous Jacksonville University Dolphin player, Pembroke Burrows. Clifton owned a lawn care service for many years and was a handyman until he became disabled in 2003. Clifton was preceded in death by his parents, Cora and Calvin Brown Jr., and his younger brother, Ray C. Brown.

Clifton leaves to cherish his memories a son, Clarence Brown and grandchildren; sisters: Terry Graves and Debra Brown; brother, Kim Brown; other family members: uncle, Dr. Solomon Brown of Albuquerque, NM; nephew, Juan Brown, nieces: Robin C. Brown (Will) and Cora N. Brown along with grand nephews: Kendall C. Jackson, Keon Jackson, and Graylin Brown, as well as, many cousins and friends.
