Obituary for Curtis Fredrick Kemp

Curtis Fredrick Kemp affectionately known as “Kirk” was born on December 25, 1970 to Sharon Mitchell in Leesburg, Florida. Although Curtis was born in Leesburg, he moved to Jacksonville, Florida and attended the local schools of Duval County. He was employed with United Brothers for many years as a Underground Utility Worker. Curtis touched many lives with his love and laughter.

Curtis loved to build things with his bare hands.. Proverbs 10:4 states that; He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand “But” the “Hand” of the diligent maketh Rich.

Curtis departed this life Monday, November 19, 2018. He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Fredrick; grandparents, Sim Kemp, Elouise Williams-Gillins, and Clematine Fredrick.

Curtis leaves his devoted memories with the love of his life, Anita Littlejohn; son, Jaquan Bazell; parents, Jessie and Sharon Mitchell; siblings, Alicia Kemp-Nunn (Burdett) Tesa Kemp-Hunter, Tommy Green (Tiffany) and Roderick Green; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Curtis Fredrick Kemp will be held 11AM, Friday, November 30th, 2018 at the All People International Church 1973 Edgewood Avenue West. The visitation will be 2 - 7PM, Thursday, November 29th, 2018 at the mortuary. Interment in Restlawn Cemeteries South. Please sign the family guest book. Arrangements in care of Tyrone S.
