Obituary for Curtis McKenzie

Mr. Curtis McKenzie was born on April 1, 1944 in Lily, Georgia to his late parents, Jeffro and Mildred McKenzie. He later moved to Jacksonville, Florida where he met and married Martha Ann Jackson. He attended Old Stanton High School. He retired from Bridgestone Tire Company after 15 years of service.

Mr. McKenzie was preceded in death by his parents, Jeffro and Mildred McKenzie; sisters, Jessie Mitchell (Samuel) and Dorothy Benefield; and brother, James McKenzie.

Mr. McKenzie was a loving husband and father who cherished his family. He will be deeply missed by his family.

Mr. McKenzie leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Martha McKenzie; children, Beverly Mosley, Cynthia Binder, Arleisa Robinson, Sharee Yelverton, Brenda Williams (Mark), Keith Rivers, Ralph McKenzie, Reginald McKenzie, and Darrick McKenzie; 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Curtis McKenzie will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday, June 6th, 2020 at the Samuel C. Rogers, Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N Main St Jacksonville, FL 32206. The visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 pm, Friday, June 5th, 2020 at the Funerals by T.S. Warden 4315 North Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
