Dan departed this life on Friday, September 6, 2019. He was preceded in death by both of his parents; son, Dan Smith Jr.; stepsons, Chris Lewis and Conrad Lewis; granddaughter, Porcha Smith; brothers, Walter Smith and Charlie Smith Sr.
Dan leaves to cherish his memories: a loving wife, Lorraine T. Smith; children, Beverly Smith and Malissa; stepdaughter, Harriett Lewis; sisters, Annie Smith and Pula Woods; brother, Horace Smith; aunt, Minnie Battle; uncle, Johnny Smith; sister-in-laws, Linda Smith, Adel King (David) and Rosemary; brother-in-law, Lucious Stewart (Ruby); a host of grandchildren, nephews, nieces and cousins.
