Obituary for Darryl Anson Allen Jr.
Darryl Anson Allen Jr. was born in Jacksonville, Florida on December 10, 1987 to his parents, Darryl Allen, Sr. and Angelique Ragans.
He attended and received his education in the Duval County Public School Systems.
Darryl, better known as “DJ” to his family and friends, was an avid skater and talented artist; art was his way of expressing himself. He never met a stranger. He was very friendly, outgoing, and full of life. He always had that infectious smile on his face that would brighten up any room. He was a ray of sunshine to those he came in contact with. His thoughtfulness for his family and friends goes without saying. He always marched to the beat of his own drum, having his own style.
Darryl departed this life on Saturday, June 6, 2020 and was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Alvin and Annette Newsome and his maternal grandparents, Herman and Helen Proctor.

The funeral service for Darryl Anson Allen Jr. will be held at 11:00 am Friday, June 19th, 2020 at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. The visitation will be 10:00 - 11:00 am, Friday, June 19th, 2020 at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. Interment in Restlawn Cemeteries South.
