Obituary for David Adams Jr.
David Adams, Jr was born January 19, 1965 in St. Petersburg, FL. He was the son of Rose Adams and the late David Adams, Sr. David attended Pinellas Park High School. He entered into the United States Navy on February 23, 1984. After his career in the Navy, David attained his CDL Drivers License. He had a passion for driving trucks and drove until his health failed.
David was a lovable person. He never met a stranger. He believed in God. He would feed the homeless. David attended Dayspring Baptist Church.
On February 13, 2005, David and Janease were joined in Holy Matrimony. They shared very fond memories of Entertainment, Love, Laughter, Listening to music, relaxing in the Jacuzzi while being entertained by her own personal comedian.
David loved his favorite gospel song. He was always singing and playing Harvey Hawkins, Jr “Through It All God Kept Me”.
David leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 16 beautiful years, Janease R. Adams; sons, Darnell and Nathan; daughter, Sharr; mother, Rose Adams of Middleburg, FL; sister, Cheryl (Kenneth) Boykins; brother (precedence): Michael Adams, sisters-in-law, Betty Williams, Gail Green, Lujuana Barber, Phyllis Barber, Willie Mae Jones, and Arnita Jones; brother-in-law, Anthony Barber; special sister, Laura Matthews of Kingstree, SC; special friends: Harold Williams, Bari (Anita) Williams, and Troy Neeley.
The funeral service for David Adams Jr. will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 8th, 2021 at the Samuel C. Rogers, Jr. Memorial Chapel,4315 North Main Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32206. The visitation will be 4:00 - 6:00 p.m., Monday, June 7th, 2021 at the Funerals by T.S. Warden, 4315 North Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206. Interment in Jacksonville National Cemetery.
