DeCarlton Criddell Armstong, Jr. was born to DeCarlton and Samantha Armstrong in Fort Campbell, Ky. on April 26th, 2001. He resided in Orange Park, FL.
He confessed Christ at an early age uniting with Higher Ground C.O.G.I.C. He was an active member of the musical department where he served as lead drummer.
DeCarlton graduated from Oakleaf Senior High School in 2020. As an Oakleaf Knight, he was an active member of the varsity football team and the frisbee team. He aspired to be the very best and follow in the footsteps of his father by joining the Armed Forces. He was anticipating entry into the Navy in the Fall of 2021.
While awaiting his departure to the Armed Forces, DeCarlton was attending Florida State College at Jacksonville where he was pursuing a degree in General Studies. He was also employed by Dick's Sporting Goods. One of his life goals was to one day join the brotherhood of Omega Psi Phi.
DeCarlton departed this life on February 8th, 2021. He was preceded in death by his grandparents - Sylvester and Marilyn Williams and Pastor Dwight E. Brisbane, Sr. He leaves to mourn his mother and father, DeCarlton (DC) and Samantha Armstrong; his siblings, Sharonica Bishop, Johnathan Bishop, Sr., Johnesha Bishop, DeWayelon Paige, Danielle Armstong, and Desaray Armstrong; his grandparents, Sandra Brisbane, Dorothy Owens, and Wilbert Armstrong (May Armstrong); nephews, Jeron Robinson, Johnathan Jr., Journ'in, Jaeden, Cameron, Wolf, Ka'ni; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
