Donald O. Taylor, Jr. was born at St Vincent's Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida on December 4, 1962. Donald passed away in Jacksonville, FL on Monday, May 23, 2022 after losing his battle with cancer. He was 59.
Donald loved his family. His dream was to care and work with horses. In his younger years, he worked as a Commercial Trucker for King Provision and mechanic. Later in life, he worked with Diamond D Horse Ranch, which led to him running his own Equestrian service company.
Donald was proceeded in death by his father, Donald O. Taylor, Sr. Ret. U.S.M.C.GySgt. He is survived by his significant other Ana Powell; mother, Catherine Taylor; sisters, Trina Taylor and Crystal Carter; daughters, Rebecca Hooks and Amber Zimmerman; son, Donald O. Taylor, III.; three grandchildren; one niece; and four nephews of which Ronald and Robert were the closest to him; and his closest friend, Scott Carey, who was there with him for most of his battle with cancer. He was beloved and will be missed dearly.
